TAGALOG NAMAN.......

I've been here in manila for 7 months na pero hesitant pa rin akong magsalita ng tagalog sa hindi ko masyadong kaclose.

I never thought the feeling would be like this nung nasa Iloilo pa ako.

Sana walang may matatawa pag may nakita kayong mali. Ang tagal tagal kong natapos to. Paki correct na lang pag may nakitang mali.

repost of "WRITTEN BY A GUY"

This has been reposted in different blogsites. And since I also find this cute, I decided to make this as my post for the day.

It begins here.........

We don’t care if you’re friends with other guys.
But when you’re sitting next to us, and some random guy walks into the room and you jump up and tackle him, without even introducing us, yeah, it pisses us off.
It doesn’t help if you sit there and talk to him for ten minutes without even acknowledging the fact that we’re still there.
We don’t care if a guy calls OR TEXTS you, but at 2 in the morning we do get a little concerned.
Nothing is that important at 2 a.m. that it can’t wait till the morning.
Also, when we tell you you’re pretty/ beautiful/ gorgeous/cute/ stunning, we freaking mean it.
Don’t tell us we’re wrong.
We’ll stop trying to convince you.
The sexiest thing about a girl is confidence.
Yeah, you can quote me.
Don’t be mad when we hold the door open. Take Advantage of the mood im in.
Let us pay for you!
Don’t “feel bad”
We enjoy doing it.
It’s expected.
Smile and say “thank you.”
Kiss us when no one’s watching.
If you kiss us when you know somebody’s looking, we’ll be more impressed.
You don’t have to get dressed up for us.
If we’re going out with you in the first place, you don’t have to feel the need to
wear the shortest skirt you have or put on every kind of makeup you own.
We like you for who you are and not what you are.
honestly, I think a girl looks more beautiful when she’s just in her pj’s. or my
shirt and boxers, not all dolled up
Don’t take everything we say seriously.
Sarcasm is a beautiful thing. See the beauty in it.
Don’t get angry easily.
Stop using magazines/media as your bible.
“Don’t talk about how hott Chris Brown, Brad Pitt, or Jesse McCartney is in front of us”.
It’s boring, and we don’t care. You have friends for that.
Whatever happened to the word “handsome”/”beautiful”?
I’d be utterly stunned by a girl who greeted me
with “Hey handsome!” instead of “Hey baby/ stud/ cutie/ sexy” or whatever else you can think of.
on the other hand I’m not saying I wouldn’t like it ether

Girls, I cannot stress this enough: if you aren’t being treated right by a guy, dont wait for him to change. ditch his sorry ASS, he’s a disgrace to the male population and find someone who will treat you with utter respect
Someone who will honor your morals.
Someone who will make you smile when you’re at your lowest.
Someone who will care for you even when you make mistakes.
Someone who will love you, no matter how bad you make them feel.
Someone who will stop what they’re doing just to look you in the eyes….and say “i love you” ..and actually mean it.
Give the nice guys a chance
Guys repost this if you agree
Girls repost this if you think it’s cute
Every Guy who isn’t a jerk will agree with this, so we hope that all the girls that read this will repost this
*Holding Hands
Girls :If you want to hold his hand, gently bump into it a couple of times.
Guys : Grab it if it happens more than once.
*Cuddling
Girls : When you want to cuddle with him, tell him you’re cold
Guys : Automatically move closer to her.
*Movies
Girls : During a movie, if he puts his arm around you, tilt your head on his shoulder
Guys : Lift her chin up and kiss her.
*Loving each other
Guys : When she tells you she loves you, look deep into her eyes, give her a peck on the lips, and tell her you love her
too… And mean it.
*Laying below the stars
Girls : When you’re both laying under the stars, put your head on his chest and close your eyes as you listen to his steady heart beat
Guys : Whisper in her ear and link your hands with hers.

TAX ISSUE AGAIN...................

I don't want to leave with bitterness in my heart.

Yesterday, my colleagues and I talked about those people who got bitterness upon leaving the companies they worked for. I was asked if I have. I paused to think if there is but I ended up with no answer. I can't think of a reason to be bitter.

BUT........

This afternoon, we received our pay slip and I was shocked to know that I was the only one who
didn't receive a tax refund plus the deduction for tax is questionable.

I lost my appetite to eat my supposedly-palatable fried chicken and vegetable side dish.

After eating, I called the accounting officer and asked for explanations. She tried to explain but those were trash explanations. She couldn't justify it. For that, she told me to talk to the HR Manager tomorrow because she can't answer my questions.

GOOD LUCK TO ME!

It's my turn to say goodbye.....

Now, it's my turn to say goodbye.

I dropped by the internet cafe this morning before I go to work to make the embellished copy of my resignation letter. As I stepped on the treshold of our company, the first thing I did was I checked the addressee of my letter. Unfortunately, she's not around. She's absent for the reason I don't know.

PLAN B: I'll leave it on her table later.

SPENT-WITH-FRIENDS HOLIDAYS

At first, I couldn't imagine how to celebrate christmas and new year with no one in my family around. But it all went fine.

During christmas eve, I and my friends together with the neighbors gathered outside the apartment to share the food we each prepared. I bought banoffee-flavored ice cream. The foods were set in a round table. Aside from what I contributed, it contained roasted chicken, ham, salad, pansit, spaghetti, graham cake, fruits and drinks.

We let the ball rolling by greeting each other a merry christmas and it was ensued by picture taking. And ofcourse, we did not let the mouth-watering foods wait for long.

Earlier before new year's eve, since some of my friends had to go to work, we decided to have a dinner together before they leave. The four of us shared the one-whole roasted chicken.

After the dinner, a kind neighbor invited me and my friend at the same time, namesake April to sing with her using the videoke. And talking about luck, my highest score was 75. I complained and suggested to the owner to have her videoke fixed the day after which they, ofcourse, interpreted as a joke.

As 2009 came to the existence, I dialled my phone and gave my family a ring.

adieu ms tey!, adieu kuya abe!, adieu arjay!

It was tuesday.
I went to the pantry to treat my self a glass of chilled water.
"Last day na namin ni abe", ms tey, our HR Supervisor and the one who gave us name as "Morning Girls" told me.
Words came tumbling and rumbling into my mind looking for an exit, yet my mouth did not permit the escape. They were locked in and the only statement which succeeded was "Di na ba talaga kayo mapipigilan?"
And the corny Joke Time ensued.

I wanted to ask WHY?
I wanted to say NO! LET'S GO TOGETHER. Pero syempre di ko na sinabi no! mapaghahalatang
matagal ko na ring binabalak na.........

Then, the final bye happened this afternoon.
Arjay invited the three of us to have some pictures taken with him since he's leaving. It wasn't painful, for the eyes of the subject himself didn't show any pain. That's the magic of the word "ACCEPTANCE".

TRUE. The only permanent thing in this world is change.

I wish the three of them the kind of life that they truly deserve.

I will miss you ALL.

Here I go again with running out words. They are locked in again inside my heart. Ay naku! ang dami dami kong gustong sabihin sa tatlo pero eto na naman ako. Cge na nga. Wag na nga.

TOPICS..........

I've been thinking of a good topic to write today but i just couldn't decide among the choices. I want to write about the book i had just finished reading. It's entitled "the Stone Flower Garden" by Deborah Smith which in my own point of view, is about the love for the family over love for someone special. At the same time, I also have this need to pour out my feelings towards the tax deducted from my salary which has became quadrupled since November. Dammit! And ofcourse, I am also excited to share my ideas about the book I'm currently reading-"The Tapestry" by Henry H. Neff.

BRAIN EXERCISE NO. 3

Yesterday, as I was surfing the net, I have encountered an account about brain exercises. One of those is to write a letter without using the personal pronouns like I, me,my,mine. As for my today's blog, I'll give it a try.

Dear Parents,
Time passed by so fast as if some unfathomable magical creations had bewitched the clock to work at doublespeed. It was just as if yesterday when we're all your babies clinging to your necks, holding your hands and meeting you excitedly when you're back from market to see the stuff you have for us. Now, we're away from you because we grew up and we're starting to brush the paint from the palette to the canvas of our future.
The idea of not going home this holiday for some economic reasons is comparable to a pickax that would break our hearts. Yet, the spirit of a christmas spent with family which you've implanted in a certain area of our whole being will always dwell there and will never be idle. We are just separated by space but within our hearts lies an invisible string of unconditional love and care that keeps us attached.
These are our wishes for you this coming birth anniversay of our dear Jesus Christ:
1. good health to keep you strong as you travel your road to another 50 years of
your lives;
2. God's blessing for your love to each other not to be distracted by age.
3. all the good for you
4. all your simple wishes to come true

Your loving daughter,

ABREL

I made it. I have composed a letter without using the personal pronouns I, me,my,mine. I have done one of the twelve brain exercises. I'm planning to do the rest this coming days. I find it so fun and challenging. Why don't you try it!
